2015 Detroit AutoRama: Art Deco Cool

A few more photos from this year's Autorama, this time a couple of very cool looking kit cars made by Delahaye USA:

This is the Pacific, a kit car based on the 1935 Type 57S Bugatti Atlantic owned by Ralph Lauren:

According to Delahaye the Pacific is "a modern, stylized tribute to the 57S that still respected Jean Bugatti's original vision." It has the classic look of a 1930s Bugatti with modern underpinnings.

This is the Bugnotti, a prototype kit car based on aspects of the Auburns, Delahayes, and Bugattis of the 1930s:

The Bugnotti is based on an Auburn Boattail Speedster kit-car frame with additional design elements brought in from other iconic 1930s cars. Putting all of those design elements together gives it a fabulous sweeping, speedy look.

On a vast floor filled with custom cars of all types, these were two of the most eye catching. Very nice.
